Based on the Bristol Stool Scale, there are 7 types of stools:

Type 1: Separate hard lumps, like nuts (hard to pass) that indicates indicate constipation
Type 2: Sausage-shaped, but lumpy that indicates indicate constipation
Type 3: Like a sausage but with cracks on its surface considered as normal poops
Type 4: Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft considered as best normal poops
Type 5: Soft blobs with clear cut edges (passed easily) considered as normal poops
Type 6: Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy stool considered as abnormal and can indicate diarrhea

What does healthy poop look like? 

Type 1 & 2 is sort of hard to pass stools that may indicate condition of constipation. This shows that your body lacking of Fiber-Rich Foods.
Fiber rich foods are Apples, Pears, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Carrots, Spinach, Whole Grains, Quinoa, Legumes, Beans, Flax Seeds & Chia Seeds. Drink more water also helps.

Type 4 is the easiest stool to pass and this actually tells that your colon is healthy. Type 3, 4 & 5 stools are known as normal stools.
Stools normally should be moving smoothly and will cause no discomfort. Where normally when you sit down in the bathroom, usually take not much delay required to poop.

However, if your stool looks watery like type 6 and 7, commonly indicate as diarrhea and often is the cause of stomach flu and food poisoning.

How many times a day should you poop?
